PMI - Los Padres has Returned to Santa Barbara

After nine years, Santa Barbara once again has a presence in PMI.

A few of the founding members of the PMI - Los Padres Chapter have joined forces to help kick off the new Santa Barbara Branch back in May 2008. The Santa Barbara Branch held their first meeting at the Goleta Public Library. Meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month. It provides a forum for knowledge sharing and networking for Project Management professionals throughout the area.

The inaugural speaker was the founding father himself, Abel Mosqueda, who spoke of the long history of the Los Padres Chapter and the need for re-establishing an active PMI presence in Santa Barbara. Over the last year, the Santa Barbara Branch volunteers have been hard at work developing the vision for our branch that aligns with that of the PMI-Los Padres Chapter.
