Presentation
Strategic Planning: Create an operational planning document that guides company leaders and employees, and improve the executive team's ability to identify, prioritize, and assign opportunities, and contribute to improved company performance. Leadership team members select high impact alternatives while building support necessary for successful implementation.
Scenario Planning: This "thinking around the corner" meeting helps teams to consider alternative futures, not trying to predict the future, but prepare for a successful response plan no matter what happens. The value of this technique comes from the deep dialogue that the different scenario stories provoke. The alternate views generate new insights about a company and its possible futures.
Scenario Planning is an excellent complement and second step to effective Strategic Planning.
This may be the first time these two powerful planning methodologies have been presented in the same seminar.
The goal of these two planning strategies is to create an operational planning document that guide company leaders and employees, and improve the executive team's ability to identify, prioritize, and assign opportunities, and contribute to improved company performance.

Inspirational Leadership: Surviving in a Powerless Matrix
Organization
with Lee R. Lambert, PMP
Camarillo, CA
September 24, 2010
Las Posas Country Club
8:30 - 4:30
8 PDUs for $349
This one-of-a-kind learning program will demonstrate how program, project or task managers can easily utilize simple tools and techniques to influence and inspire the “loaned” matrix resources that have been assigned to help accomplish project and organizational objectives. Lee R. Lambert will artfully describe and illustrate the power of these concepts—especially when combined with common project management related information—by citing specific examples from three very successful, real-world, projects.
Assessment instruments will provide a framework to create a human baseline for realizing the possibilities of influencing those project resources who don’t report to you. Utilizing the potential of these tools, participants will learn how to enhance productivity and project loyalty while developing high performance teams as they seek the answers to the following triple constraint questions:
1) What’s in it for me;
2) What’s in it for you; and
3) What’s in it for the Organization?
